The Story
DJ RaH RahH was born in Queens, New York on March 15th, 1983, to Guyanese parents. He started DJing at fourteen. The drum set he had asked for turned out to be far too loud for an attached house, so it went back to the store and came home as a starter DJ kit.
The music was already there. His father — the man he looks up to most — kept up with everything, and passed his records down. RaH RahH bought whatever new music he could afford. Block parties in Shadyville, Queens, alongside his childhood friend and DJ partner DJ Nightrydr (aka Sol, aka Helios, R.I.P.), turned into parties across the neighborhood, then school events and shows in college, and eventually the West Indian nightlife scene in south Queens.
With his best friend Kevin Khan, plus Dave and Anand (Chacho), he founded the promotional group GrimeStar Entertainment. With DJ SpeedE and DJ Echo he founded Team Magnum DJs, now thirteen members strong, along with their own online station, Magnum 24/7 Radio, built with DJ Zack.
He holds a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Math from Queens College. He is married to his wife Kristina and has two children, Jace and Alessa. Today he is booked regularly across the nightlife scene, has played in states across the country, and has travelled the world for weddings and private events. He is also half-owner of NY Event Productions, where he and his partner Ajay Singh handle everything an event needs, end to end.

I am not one to leave reviews but Rah Rahh was honestly the BEST part of our entire wedding weekend… My fiancé is Irish-American and I am Guyanese-American and I wanted the music to be good for the crowd — let me tell you there was not a moment where the dance floor was empty. We had about 250 people at our wedding and it was a mixed crowd, and DJ Rah Rahh had all of them having fun on the dance floor. Even down to the wire right before the ceremony, he made sure we were okay and assured us that everything would run smoothly — and it sure did. His team was also so professional, the set up was so clean and organized.
Rahrahh and his team were nothing short of amazing. From our wedding ceremony to our reception, they took care of all of our audio needs and then some. They were able to provide a great variety of music, including Spanish music and Kompa which meant a lot to us. Everyone was on the dance floor all night.
